Continuing Events to Introduce the Gurdjieff Teaching

Movements Presentation:

This is the first public presentation by the New York Gurdjieff Foundation in more than 55 years — a rare opportunity to witness the beauty of Gurdjieff’s exercises as a search for conscious movement.

Because of the overwhelming positive support for the two planned movements presentations on May 21st, there will be a third presentation that day at 7:30 p.m. This third presentation is for the general public

For those wishing to make a purchase, tickets are now available via the following link for Ovation Tix:

Ongoing Readings:

What do we need to practice in order to awaken? How do Gurdjieff's ideas help us experience our sleep?

"How can one awaken? How can one escape this sleep? These questions are the most important, the most vital that can ever confront a man. But before this it is necessary to be convinced of the very fact of sleep." - G.I. Gurdjieff

These biweekly sessions, including readings and conversation, will explore various aspects of the above theme.

Note that the sessions are open by invitation only to those who have attended our introductory events or previous reading sessions. Registration is required.

There will be five Friday sessions: March 17, March 31, April 14, May 5 and May 19, each starting at 7:30 pm and lasting about an hour. If you are interested in attending, please email or call 718-512-8616 for more information.
